• bring your own letter-size paper, remember to put your name on the top, and number the pages
• you have 1 hour 15 min to complete the exam
• if you prefer doing the exam on a tablet, you have extra 10 min to upload it to Canvas.

FAQs

• What topics will be covered on the midterm exam? Our homework subjects are a bit behind our lecture material?
  Everything up to and including HW6. HW7 is due after the midterm.
• Will it be everything covered in the lecture and in the homework?
  Everything in homeworks, the material assigned as reading and worked out in detail in lectures (but not things mentioned in passing) up to and including Strogatz chapter 6, lecture 10 of the course (but "Index Theory" will not be on the midterm).

  Midterm is 10% of the overall grade - the purpose is for you to review the material covered so far. The final exam (20%) will cover material covered starting with HW7.
