What is on the exam?

• Material covered in the course from September 18 to November 14 (Strogatz chapters 7 to 12, HW7 to HW13)

Ground rules

• Open book, lecture notes, can use a calculator, a tablet or a laptop
• bring your own letter-size paper, remember to put your name on the top, and number the pages
• you have 2 hours 50 min to complete the exam (+ 15 minutes to upload on Canvas, if working on a tablet)
• waste no time googling
• sail solo - no collaboration/discussions

• What topics will be covered on the final exam?
  Everything starting with HW7 to Strogatz chapter 12; nothing covered in lectures after November 19.
• Will it be everything covered in the lecture and in the homework?
  Everything in homeworks; from the material assigned as reading, only things worked out in detail in lectures (not just mentioned in passing).

  The final exam is 20% of the overall grade.
