Domenico has found a more natural (Hermite) basis than what we used in that paper (Taylor series, essentially). His thesis project takes him in different direction than the project below - but it is closely related to his thesis, so both he and I would be verrrry interested in your progress. The project is: 1) understand and derive the matrix representations of the evolution operator used in paper III. 2) derive the matrix representations of the evolution operatorin the Guassina/Hermite basis. 3) compare convergence of the 2 bases sets, for example the dependence of the leading eigenvalue of evolution operator as function of the finite size matrix truncations. At least 2/3 of this project are analytical - part 3 requires numerical computation. cheers Predrag
