The hypertext pdf version of the webbook is very sweet
if your browser (like Netscape) is configured right.
Byteserving, or page-at-a-time
downloading, enables you to view a PDF file from a
Web server without downloading the entire 800
pages manuscript. With
byteserving, a finite range of bytes - usually one page
- is served and displayed when requested, so you only
need to wait the time it takes to download a single
page before you can view the file.
Hypertext enables you to hop to equations,
sections, references at a mouse click.
The browser should be configured with the
Acrobat Reader as a
plugin.
